Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which you may cancel orders and request refunds when using the DailyCuts mobile application ("App"). DailyCuts facilitates the ordering and delivery of fresh meat, fish, chicken, mutton, and household grocery items through our store/vendor partners.

2. Order Cancellation by Customer

2.1 Free Cancellation

You may cancel an order free of charge if:

  • The order has not yet been dispatched from the store/vendor.
  • The cancellation is made before the store/vendor begins preparing or packing your order.

2.2 Cancellation After Dispatch

Once your order has been dispatched:

  • No cancellation is possible after the order is out for delivery.
  • If exceptional circumstances apply, please contact us immediately at info@dailycuts.co.in and we will review on a case-by-case basis.

2.3 No Refund After Delivery

Once delivery is completed and the order has been handed over to you:

  • No refund will be provided for change of mind or incorrect ordering by the customer.
  • Quality-related issues are handled separately (see Section 4).

3. Cancellation by Store/Vendor

If a store/vendor cancels your order:

  • You will receive a full refund of any prepaid amount.
  • You will be notified immediately via the App and/or SMS.
  • Common reasons include stock unavailability or inability to deliver to your area.

4. Quality Issues & Perishable Goods Policy

Given the perishable nature of our products (fresh meat, fish, chicken, mutton), we take quality seriously:

  • If you receive items that are spoiled, stale, or of unacceptable quality, you are eligible for a full refund or replacement.
  • If items are damaged during delivery (torn packaging, contamination), a full refund or replacement will be provided.
  • If you receive wrong items (different from what was ordered), we will arrange a replacement or full refund.
  • If there are missing items from your order, a refund for the missing items will be processed.
  • Quality complaints must be raised within 4 hours of delivery with photographic evidence via the App or email.

5. Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund in the following cases:

  • The store/vendor cancels or fails to deliver the order.
  • You were charged incorrectly or double-charged.
  • Products received are significantly different from what was ordered.
  • Quality issues with perishable goods (as described in Section 4).
  • Technical issues on the App caused an erroneous order or payment.

6. Refund Process

  • Refund requests can be initiated through the App or by emailing info@dailycuts.co.in.
  • For quality issues with perishable goods, requests must be made within 4 hours of delivery.
  • For other issues, refund requests must be made within 48 hours of the order delivery.
  • We will review and respond to refund requests within 3-5 business days.
  • Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

7. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • Order delivered successfully with no quality issues reported within the specified timeframe.
  • Customer was unavailable at the delivery address and the order could not be delivered.
  • Incorrect delivery address provided by the customer.
  • Change of mind after delivery has been completed.
  • Violation of our Terms and Conditions leading to account suspension.

8. Disputes

If you disagree with a refund decision:

  • You may escalate the matter by emailing info@dailycuts.co.in with details of your concern.
  • We will investigate and provide a final resolution within 7 business days.
  • Our decision on disputes shall be final and binding.

9. Promotional Credits & Offers

  • Promotional credits or discounts are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • If an order made with promotional credits is cancelled before dispatch, the credits may be restored to your account at our discretion.
  • Expired promotional credits cannot be refunded or reinstated.

10. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be posted within the App and will take effect immediately. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
